A friend of mine needs to take back a new car she bought 2 days ago, we live in Maryland, can that happen?

Are you asking if Maryland has a “lemon law”?

Yours is one of the more incoherent OPs I have seen in some time. Take 5 seconds to think about what you’re writing.

[Here is the Maryland Attorney General’s explanation of Maryland’s lemon law.](http://www.oag.state.md.us/consumer/lemon.htm)

Maryland Code, Commercial Law, Title 2-602

> [@](#):
>
> Manner and effect of rightful rejection.
> (1) Rejection of goods must be within a reasonable time after their delivery or tender. It is ineffective unless the buyer seasonably notifies the seller.

IANAL and I have no idea if a car purchase would fall under this provision.

[Here’s another relevant passage](http://www.oag.state.md.us/Consumer/cpdfaq.htm)

> [@](#):
>
> If I sign a contract to buy a car, do I have three days to change my mind and cancel the contract?
> No. Many consumers mistakenly believe all contracts allow a 3-day cooling-off period to cancel. Generally, there’s no cooling off period after you sign a contract. (In Maryland, only a few types of transactions, such as door-to-door sales contracts, allow you three business days to cancel.) However, if the dealer promised finance terms, such as a certain interest rate or monthly payment, and is unable to honor those terms, you can’t be forced to accept other terms and may cancel the contract.

I think “seasonably” should be “reasonably” in my previous quote. The source [material](http://198.187.128.12/maryland/lpext.dll?f=templates&fn=fs-main.htm&2.0) says “seasonably.”

Seems everyone else could decipher my supposably incoherent ramblings.
