Finding Gun Registration Information?

(Edit: replying to pkbites) Did you read the OP? He swore to his therapist and then-wife that he wouldn’t buy a gun (due to having severe depression and anger issues) and then apparently went and did it. She is cleaning out his crap from her place and found gun-related stuff. So either he merely bought 3000 rounds of ammo and a night scope for a pistol just because, or he has/had a gun to go with them.

Listen, I personally don’t give a shit if an average person has a gun. The person being described in the OP, per his therapist’s judgement, really shouldn’t have a gun.

If he bought A gun, why were there more than 1 type of ammo?

Possible that he bought ammo and no gun? People stockpiled ammo after Obama was elected. I even bought ammo in calibers for which I owned no guns to.

Did I miss something? Where did the OP say the therapist said this? She only mentioned discussing it with the therapist.

I already reported the thread for closure because the original question was answered and the discussion is wandering away from GQ territory.

Thank you; I agree.

Why not get a restraining order for you and your child against your ex-husband stating the reason is that you believe
your ex has a gun and under certain circumstance could use said gun if?

Then he would be forced to admit if he has a gun or not.

My original suggestion was that she deal with her lawyer and/or authorities.

Then why are you ignorant of how benign ammo sitting in a case is?

TruCelt: Even if he has a gun, so what? Is he prohibited by law from owning or possessing a gun?

Sorry guys, but I’m done here. I really appreciate those of you who answered my question.

The discussion has drifted far enough away from the OP that it’s no longer a GQ.
