Yeah. I made a [thread about it here](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=765043&highlight=traffic). Was just looking at the more recent history, but [this post by Giraffe](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showpost.php?p=18601720&postcount=10) showed average numbers over the last 5 years:

I don’t even know what it’d look like going back to '04. But it was probably even higher then.
