Is there a subscription service that lets you know what’s coming out on the market? Or do you have some sort of psychic ability that informs you of this? I’m deeply interested in knowing how you learn about EVERYTHING, and thus have no need for a company to voluntarily inform you of how they might be able to meet one of your needs or desires. ---

It’s gratifying so far that we’ve had few unsolicited visits from people offering dubious lawn/yard cleanup services and none from home improvement scammers. There _was_ a guy who wanted permission to go down to our pond to collect turtles. He didn’t get it. ---

Granted, the eves do need to be repainted. In any case he pointed over to my neighbor’s house and said he’s having his done and wanted to see if I wanted to have my done as well. I replied ‘him? He does all his own work around the house and painted it himself just last summer’ and closed the door. Someone said I should have told him I’d love to get my house painted as well and ask him to stop back after he does the neighbor’s house so I can see how he does. ---
