What’s the best finish you’ve heard for that joke? I’ve heard so many that I can’t even recall any _good_ ones. I remember hearing a rather clever finish a while back but I’ll be damned if I can remember it. Help me out here. Offer your most clever finish for; **Why did the chicken cross the road…** ---

this is not funny, but I have heard it told as “becasue the road crossed him”- I guess cross meaning “did something bad to” is the intent. ---
