…served soup to Pierce Brosnan and Richard Attenborough …acquired a degree in biochemistry and then one (almost…it’s coming!) in mechanical engineering (and I hope no one else has taken this stupid path through life!) …taken an ambulance for a 750m trip (less than a half mile…I assumed they’d take me to another hospital!) …landed a Boeing 777 in the first try with no pilot experience at all (in a simulator, but still) ---

I crashed a CRJ-200 simulator multiple times. Apparently I like the bigger birds! ---

Has successfully escaped from/avoided rapists on 3 different occasions. When I say I’m flypaper for freaks, I’m not kidding. Lived next door to a murderer who was always asking me to come inside for a drink. Another neighbor who did ended up dead. I came home from work one morning (3rd shift) and found his photo on the front page of my newspaper. My nail lady was dating the cop who arrested him and I got the rest of the story from her later, turned out he had been bothering me and a couple of other women and for some reason this woman didn’t pick up on the freak vibe. She had just moved to get away from an abusive ex and had 2 small children. ☹ Spent most of my adult life ‘sterile’ only to have a surprise baby in my mid-thirties. Both my mother and my grandmother also had children after being told they couldn’t, so I guess I should have seen it coming. Has watched an episode of cops one night and realized I was watching something I had actually witnessed in person when I was living in Dallas. Has watched an episode of America’s Most Wanted and seen someone I knew, and had just had drinks with a few nights previously. Has dated someone who was in the country illegally (from England, of all places) who said if they were caught they would go to prison. I still have no clue what he did, and may never know…unless I see him on another TV show. 😛 He trusted me enough to tell me his ID was all illegal and that he was here illegally, but he never told me what he’d done in England that was so horrible. We lost touch when I wouldn’t marry him and he was desperately searching for someone to help him stay because a friend was threatening to report him to immigration. Has been pursued by a pro football player and been completely disinterested. Has dated an eccentric millionaire. (it ain’t all it’s cracked up to be.)
