Had the honor of walking up to and getting hands on the 'Trieste" when she was stored at sub base Point Loma, San Diego, CA. durring the early 1980’s. These are some of my favorite moments in this life. Very few people give a shit. I love the **SDMB**! I have photos and have asked \*\*Tuba diva \*\*in the past about posting them here, but I dont even have a clue how to go from a photo in my hand to an image posted here. once, for 20 minutes, in 2010 you could help me get to the bottom of this. 🙂 ---

… was on the field in Super Bowl XXIX. … as a film runner for the San Jose Mercury News when someone in my dorm who was slated to do it suddenly got actual tickets to the game and decided to use them instead. I was just lucky enough to be the guy answering the phone when his ticket call came through. ---
