I’ve known him for about a year elsewhere online, and his style is genuinely his. It’s not for your benefit or mine, and he never seeks to harm anyone or get a reaction. He’s having fun. His style is not particularly easy to mesh in to the general SDMB style, but I think he deserves a chance. ---

I just assumed his posting style was whatever style he used and that it was just naturally grating. I suppose the difference hangs on whether or not he’s ‘playing’ people.
