On the subject of lies, I suppose could simply point out the contradictions, but I often want to make the point that they’re knowingly deceiving readers. Credibility is an issue, and someone who’s mistaken now and again has a higher degree of credibility than someone who’s given to lying. I’d hope, for instance, that if someone like Zombie were to claim that I said something, since he’s already gone on record with the lie that I’ve accused people of being Nazis, that readers would wait for a cite before believing his claims. As for stupidity, I suppose… but boy is does it ever feel theraputic to respond to someone who’s being an absolute idiot and point that out. Point taken though, as people’s stupidity generally shines through without anybody else needing to call much attention to it. On the nature of anti-Semites though, I have to disagree. [DSeid and I recently had this same general discussion](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showpost.php?p=13379410&postcount=52), too, and it’s one we’ve had many times. In America at least, the process of ‘giving enough rope’ to folks like that means that their ideas become part and parcel of the public discourse. I also, personally, do not want to respond to racists with kid gloves. As I see it, someone spewing anti-Semitism is like someone walking up to me and spitting in my face. Yes, I can politely point out that it wasn’t very nice, or I can punch him in the nose. Except in this case I worry that the “well, tell me more about how you think that Jews secretly control the US government?” not only get it into the public discussion as a legitimate topic (made even more ‘legitimate’ because they can now hold up a token Jew as agreeing that it’s a reasonable subject for discussion) but reinforces stereotypes of Jews as weaklings and pushovers. Why, you can walk right up to a Jew and utter the worst sorts of anti-Semitic conspiracy theories, and those limp wristed momma’s boys will just politely engage in a discussion of “how evil are the Jews?” > [@](#): > > And whatever you do, don’t act liake they’ve got you ruffled. I have to admit that I find this whining that Finn calls anyone who criticized Israel an anti-Semite quite odd. I’ve been quite critical of Israel and have yet to have him call me an anti-Semite or even insult me. It seems to me that the only people who wind up getting spanked by him are those who make extreme statements they can’t back up or reveal gross ignorance on the subject they are speaking about. For myself, I’ve found that few of Israel’s harshest critics in the West actually care about the Palestinians or their cause, but most attack Israel out of other motivations. ---

In other words you’re just a standard Troofer and you can’t do more than JAQ Off. You certainly don’t have the integrity to come out and say what connection you think the Mossad has to 9/11. And you will relentlessly distort a telephone-type quote from The Forward that 20/20 reported somewhat inaccurately while pretending not to understand that 20/20 themselves reported that the intelligence community had not even come to the conclusion that they were spies but had agreed that even if they were, they had nothing to do with 9/11. So not only is your claim that it was “proven” that the ‘dancing Israelis’ had any agents of the Mossad, utterly false, but your Troofer conspiracy theory is debunked by the same sources you pretend to respect. Now man up and offer an actual cogent argument rather than innuendo and JAQing Off about how the Mossad was involved in 9/11. Any time now. ---

If a rock rolls down hill and crushes Joe Jones, it is entirely correct to assert that Joe Jones is dead. Calling it a “tragedy” depends on interpretation.
