Would it be a comedy? Because I think it will be impossible to cast Trump, or to portray him, in such a way that he’s not a cartoon character. Doing it that way would be the easy way, but I’d like to see it taken seriously. Don’t get someone to do a Trump impersonation, get someone with serious acting chops to play the role. Like a Russell Crowe, Jeff Bridges, Ed Harris, maybe even a Mel Gibson. Stanley Tucci’s not a bad suggestion. ---

Hasn’t Thomas F. Wilson already auditioned for the part of Trump in Back to the Future 2? He seems pretty spot on. Since Sean Bean is known for dying early, he can be Sean Spicer. Every player I can think of to play Sarah H. Spicer would look like an insult to strong, conservative women. Plus Anne Ramsey is dead. I think Philip Seymour Hoffman would have made a better Bannon. Since he’s not available how 'bout post mugshot Nick Nolte? Lady Gaga should me Melania, that kid without the collarbones from Stranger Things to play Barron. Andy Samdberg for Jared and Kristen Schaal for Ivanka. Only because I love Kristen and she should be in everything. If you can find someone better for Ivanka she could play Omarosa. ---

How about a cast of all-Kardashians? If you open it up to ‘spouses and/or exes’ you could have Caitlyn Jenner as Melania. And come on, Kanye as Trump would be just amazing. Dude has the giant ego thing down pat. Of course that casting might put the _actual_ Trump in the hospital—but sometimes art must be served. (And it would be a ratings monster.) ---

Now that I’m thinking about it, I don’t think Omarosa is in the book. I think Kristen would be much better in the roll of the Trump Whisperer. For the life of me I cannot remember the young woman’s name. Bannon publicly verbally derided her prompting Ivanka to ask for an ethics investigation. What in the hell is her name? Anyway-- her. Kristen Schall should play her just for the Bannon beat-down scene. ---
