I read one news story quoting a firefighter saying that it was the best smelling fire he’d ever smelled. Feel sorry about the fish, though. ---

Saw this on Facebook: “Jim Beam is now seeping into the Kentucky River as a result of the bourbon warehouse fire which means that if you go fishing right now, there’s a good chance you’ll catch a whiskey-drunk trout in a tank top yelling at his wife that he’ll come home when he damn well pleases.” ---

This sort of thing always impresses me. In my life I will not consume a litre of whiskey. Yet, there are factories and, I suppose, warehouses, pipelines and ocean-going tankers full of the stuff. Imagine that. ---
