My problem with the stuff is the same problem I have with Jagermeister and Red Bull. “Kids These Days” are drinking stuff that they _know_ doesn’t taste good. And by “kids”, I’m including immature “bros” who have to drink a few (light) beers before they get the great idea to do shots of wicked-tasting crap. ---

The drink of choice in my youth was pernod and blackcurrant, rum and peppermint or sambuca, I therefore don’t feel qualified to comment on the drinkability of current choices. Plus my wife loves trying all sorts of weird and wonderful alcoholic herbal tinctures when she’s skiing and her current tipple is Ramazotti which is basically cough medicine. ---

I’ve had shots of Fireball and I don’t know what the hate is about. It actually tastes good, rather than something that tastes like burning. But I like sweet things and hate most straight alcohol so YMMV. I just so happened to notice one of those floss picks on the subway platform tonight. Weird. ---

While I still haven’t encountered the supposedly ubiquitous empties (possible due to being generally unobservant), I was in a liquor store in CT yesterday for reasons and saw the minis being sold in like twenty packs. Never seen that before, but certainly conducive to mass consumption and mass litter. ---

I’ve seen a recent nosedive in the number of floss picks, for obvious reasons, but not in those minibottles, especially because we aren’t doing bottle deposit right now. I took a walk around my neighborhood today and picked up an astonishing amount of litter, including (you guessed it) a Fireball mini-bottle. ---

They must buy only big bottles around here. I’ve never seen the minis. I pick up cans and bottles around my gated driveway a few times a year. Hair ties just slide off my hair sometimes. I must not be the only one cause I’ve seen hundreds in parking lots. ---
