I owe Joss Whedon my wife, so anytime he wants, the fellating’s his. I’m so his bitch. So far, he’s hit it out of the park with everything he’s done, IMO. _Buffy_, _Angel_, _Firefly_, _Fray_, _Astonishing X-Men_…you name it, I’ll buy it if Joss is involved. ---

[/QUOTE] The pilot episode is pretty slow-paced, especially the first half hour or so. I feel like it would have actually worked better condensed down to 45 minutes rather than as a double-length episode. I do love the theme song though. ---

I think Fox absolutely made the right call in not showing that episode first. The Train Robbery episode is so much better. I don’t agree with you on the theme song. God… ---

Regarding the series, I didn’t get hooked until renting the movie. I immediately bought the movie DVD, and bought the series (the only series I’ve ever bought). I’ve been carefully rationing out the episodes of the series since then–going on 2 years now. I’ve only got about four left. ☹ ---
