# Firefox 3.0 glitch?

I just installed it a couple of days ago, and since then my “view unread posts” button behavior has been buggy. It consistently dumps me onto posts in the thread I’ve already read. I land at least near the new unread posts (within a post or two) but not precisely on the oldest new post, which has been the behavior to which I’ve grown accustomed.

If you scroll down one screen, is the intended post now at the top of the screen? If so, it’s a known problem with our old version of vB. (And I get the same problem if I try IE here.) But it isn’t a critical problem, so it probably won’t get fixed any time soon.

Sorry, missed rawr’s response. Sometimes I end up only a post away from the first unread, but it seems just as often I end up several posts away.

If you click the arrow icon beside the thread link, then the behaviour works in the described fashion. But if you open the thread and then click the “View First Unread” link at the beginning, it will work correctly.
