# Firefox bar insertion

Firefox inserts some funky “bar” symbol in the text when I mouse over some SDMB thread titles. Does anyone know why this symbol is showing up?

For example, mouse over this thread title:

What Are You Listening to Right Now?

in Cafe Society.

You mean like this:  
“What album or song have you been consistently spinning lately? [FBS][FBS] For me its” etc? Those two squares? That’s just newline characters.

It looks like it only appears when a link is inserted. The bar takes the place of the linked word.

Happens to my Firefox when there are “enters” in the OP that would show up in the mouseover.

Looks like a black rectangle with a little dot in the middle.
