# Firefox extension- Back tab loads from cache instead of reloading page

Does anyone know if there is a firefox extension that changes the back button from reloading the previous page to going back to the previous page in the cache. I want it to work like Opera does where when I click on the back button it instantly loads the version of the page I have already looked at instead of reloading the page.

I don’t know of an extension, but if you download [beta 2](http://www.mozilla.org/projects/firefox/) I believe they have moved to the cache paradigm.
