Does this Firefox extension exist (or is it already a part of FireFox)?

When I select a URL from the dropdown list in address bar, I want it to be moved to the top of the list. This helps sort the ones I use most often to the top, the ones I rarely use bubble down to the bottom.

It is the one thing I like about IE compared to Firefox.

Will this do what you want? Sort by most recently visited is one of the options you can set.

Thanks for the reply **engineer\_comp\_geek**. That wasn’t exactly what I was looking for, but I appreciated the response.

That added \*all \*my recently visited sites to the address dropdown, making it too cluttered. I want the address bar to behave as it usually does, adding only those things typed or pasted in, but sorting when one is selected.
