When opening Firefox I get several messages saying that Chrome Registration Failed. I’ve tried removing ad-ons, with no success. Any Ideas? ---

I thought Chrome was the name of a browser. I don’t see why FireFox would attempt to register it. Is it possible your ‘Home Page’ is set to a page that downloads Chrome? Note: I actually don’t know what I am talking about, but it can’t hurt to check. ---

While Chrome is indeed a browser ([Chromium](http://code.google.com/chromium/)), “Chrome” refers to something completely different in Firefox; it’s a framework that Firefox uses in rendering its user interface. [Here’s a Mozilla page](http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Chrome+registration+failed) discussing the problem you’re describing (not sure if you’d seen it yet). I’ve never encountered this problem before, but hopefully this page will help. ---
