I am trying out Mozilla Firefox as an alternative to Netscape 7.1. I like it okay, but when I installed it, it imported my IE bookmarks. Well, I don’t use them, so it was pretty worthless. Is there anyway to import my Netscape bookmarks to Firefox?

Does NS 7.1 save bookmarks as html file?
If so, you might be able to import the saved NS bookmarks from Bookmarks \> Manage Bookmarks \> File \> Import

In case it ever comes up again, all you have to do is copy bookmarks.html from your N7 profile to your Firefox profile. The location of the profiles varies from OS to OS, but on Windows 2000 it’s usually something similar to C:\Documents and Settings\*userName\*\Application Data\*applicationName\*\Profiles\default\*randStrg\*.slt
