Is there a way to make followed links open in a new tab, rather than in a new window? I mean beyond the right click menu select. I would like all new links to open in a tab.

Try right-clicking on the link and select Open Link in New Tab.

I’m not aware of a way to open pages in new tabs by default, but you can do it by clicking your mouse wheel, which is almost as good.

Try Tools\>Options\>Advanced\>Tabbed Browsing. Select Open Links from Other Applications in (\*)A new tab in the most recent window.

I hope this helps you!

Gah, I’m not sure this is what you’re after either. Still opens it in a new window… dang.

Thanks though to **csharpmajor** , I didn’t know that trick. Thanks!

Absolutely, since that’s how I have it set up. I don’t remember exactly how I did that, but I believe I used the [Tabbrowser Preferences](http://www.intraplanar.net/projects/tabprefs) extension. [This one](http://extensionroom.mozdev.org/more-info/tbe) looks like it could also do it.
