# Firefox typing problem

I installed Firefox v.1.5 about a month ago, and recently I’ve been having a problem with entering text in it. Sometimes, after I type a letter, the cursor moves backwards by one so that it is to the left of the newly-typed character. Therefore, when typing a word, a letter in the middle of the word sometimes winds up at the end (i.e. exmplea for “example”). This does not occur in Word, Notepad, or even Internet Explorer, so I deduce a Firefox problem, not a keyboard problem. Any suggestions?

Have you tried uninstalling then reinstalling Firefox?
