# Firefox vs. Washington Post

My firefox browser crashes (is not responding) about once a week. And it’s always on the Washington Post website. Does anyone else have this issue? I’ve deleted and redownloaded firefox so I know it’s current and not corrupted.

Been using firefox for many years and hate the thought of learning a new browser and it’s shortcuts. But when the GDF thing locks up it’s a real pain to reboot.

Ideas? Suggestions?

You posted before you completed the post.

If the issue is excessive ads, etc use the uBlock Origin addon.

Fixed the post or the crashing issue?

I use Firefox too and it doesn’t crash often. Did the ad blocker help at all?
