The gentleman on the right in this [pic](http://ednixon.com/images/lrchpcnc.jpg) was a critical care nurse until a car accident (IIRC) nearly ended his life. He stands seemingly close to seven feet tall, and is an utter sweetheart. You may also recognize him from a Foster Farms Chicken commercial several years ago, where he played an irritable tattoo artist.

Oh, and yes, back to firemen! Whether in their “blues” or in full turnout… I’ll take one, please!
