# Fireworks: Better Deal At Roadside Tents, Or Brick-and-Mortar Stores

It’s fireworks season, and here in Missouri they’re legal as hell! Aside from a rather large selection of brick-and-mortar stores (mostly along major highways), roadside tents are popping up in off-the-beaten-path places, such as the little one-horse-town I now call home.

Does one retail option generally offer more bang (heh) for the buck than the other? Roadside stands have the advantage of almost zero overhead, but year-round brick-and-mortar stores likely have fewer middle men.

Anyone got the straight dope?

Also, what’s the profit margin on those things? It has to be HUGE.
