Do ya think I’m Sexy? - Revolting Cocks - Linger Ficken’ Good On the topic of randomness on the iPod I think there is a setting somewhere in iTunes where you can influence the randomness to make it more likely to play songs from the same artist or album. If you turn that setting to the max you will see more streaks of songs from the same artist. ---

I don’t have an iPod, but using iTunes: 1. _Seaside Rendezvous_ by Queen 2. _Dr. Bogenbroom_ by Jethro Tull 3. _Four Sticks_ by Led Zeppelin 4. _Manteca_ by Phish 5. _A Certain Girl_ by Warren Zevon 6. _Veronica_ by Elvis Costello 7. _Bell Boy_ by The Who 8. _Dig My Grave_ by They Might Be Giants 9. _Lie to Me_ by L’il Georgie and the Shufflin’ Hungarians 10. _Stalin Malone_ by Elvis Costello Other than the Elvis Costello, that’s actually a pretty good summation of my typical listening choices, group-wise. ---

Wth it set to the max, iTunes latches onto one artist for 5 to 15 or so tracks. On my iPod, out of 40 shuffled tracks, the only matching ones were four of Wagner. And I do have well over a gigabyte of Wagner on there 🙂 ---
