I thought it was gonna be BONES.
It may stay on the air for a while, but I’m after last week (Afghanis are NOT Arabs! :smack: :mad: ) I’m only watching it as long as Television Without Pity does those funny snarky recaps. And they don’t look too happy with it either.

I liked Head Cases, dammit.
I wonder how many episodes were completed. Stupid to cancel after just two eps, unless they have something awesome to put in its place, but if they had something awesome, wouldn’t they have tried that first?

Lost, maybe?
I was reading the media thread at TWOP, and Head Cases was getting some fair-to-middlin’ critical reviews.
Now I know how Firefly fans felt. At least they got 11 episodes.
Maybe it’s better that the show is gone before I got attached. And they did steal the secretary!

I never understood how something can get canceled after just _two_ episodes. I mean, it didn’t have the time to get the ratings, fer christ’s sake! If I were a TV exec, I would let all shows (well, ones I originally approved of) go six episodes.
And, being Fox, it will be replaced with “The Worlds” blank"iest" blank. Yeah, I’m sure THAT will bring in the ratings. :rolleyes:

I don’t understand the two episode thing, either.
Not that I was going to watch it, no matter how many episodes it had. The previews were stinky.

There’s a formula to it. It doesn’t matter if “Worlds Blankiest Blank” gets less ratings than “Head Cases” did… It would probably cost about 1/5th less than it did to produce “Head Cases”. So therefore Fox is going to go on the cheap. It’s a crappy formula.
Obviously I am no expert but it seems to me that networks should program with their competitors in mind. Don’t put a show that you have high hopes for or have invested a lot of money in against a guranteed ratings winner. Don’t put Head Cases against Lost. Put some of your lame sitcoms on that way the folks who like lame sitcoms can have something to watch while Lost is on.
