Consider: In _Terminator_, the robots are shown in a somewhat familiar mechanical way, even if they have a skin cover as “camouflage”. In _Terminator 2_, they introduce a sleeker, more futuristic concept in the T-1000, and it actually worked out well. Possibly, even though I, too, think this looks too much like the current Batman costumes, it’ll work out in the end. The key will be good story telling. ---

Goodness, that suit looks terrible. It just looks like someone stuck a helmet on the protagonist of the latest Deus Ex game, and it’s completely out of place. Both films get better with local knowledge (they’re based on real events and people, and the scripts are inspired by interviews with police officers here in Rio de Janeiro), but if anything, the first is more accessible. ---

Maybe this isn’t really Robocop, but a similar film financed and directed by Cave Johnson from Aperture Laboratories… The real title is “RobotA-Cop” We’re done here… ---

**Toffe** , I’m hoping a local theater will do a double feature of the two Elite Squad movies someday.
