Today I went to class. We had a picnic, then a friend from class took me to her house. Then I went to work. I don’t usually go to work on Monday, but this was a special occasion. I took pictures of a walking tour/theatrical performance around the neighbourhood. It was so much fun!!! (It involved zombies and dirty-joke-making nuns. Of course it was fun. 🙂 )
I really like my job. 😃

I am at irk, it is irksome. That is the nature of irk.
Today will be spent hassling folks and training more recruits for the spider army, then I’m sending 'em north to **Nuts**'cos I think she needs them more than I do.
**Moooom** , that looks like a great cruise, especially since it goes to Iceland too (I have very fond memories of a trip I took there years ago). My holiday plans are coming along slowly, so far it’s going to be a weekend away for a friend’s birthday in early July, Belgium in mid-July, Vancouver and environs in August/September and possibly Vegas for hexmas. I think that’s quite enough for now, don’t you? Oh, and at some point in between, I really need to get a proper job as this temping lark isn’t paying enough to keep me in flights!

Well,\* DUH!!!\* 😛
Much rainage ensued last night, but it’s stopped now. We might get some today… maybe.
Plans today are to rearrange the garage to accommodate one car, one Harley, one John Deere riding mower, and one tow-behind sucker/mulcher. I figure a couple of hours work. Last time we were cleaning the garage, a couple of door-to-door evangelizers stopped by to save us. We were quite dirty and sweaty and disgusting at the time, and less inclined than normal to listen to their sales pitch. We should be undisturbed today.
I’m out of Diet Coke, so I’m having a cherry coke zero. It’s not that good. Maybe I need to give up caffeine?

I was just outside standing at my bus stop for a couple minutes, taking in the mist effect due to very wet grounds and wind, not exactly something you want when you are standing in 57 degrees with nothing but short sleeves and shorts…
Also, damn the route this bus takes. It goes through the lowest coverage areas which makes surfing the Dope extremely slow.

Blurf.
Thunder, lightning, wind, rain, flying monkeys, and houses falling on bitchy sisters were the excitement last night. Depending on who you talk to, either a supercell came across the Potomac towards the VunderLair, or there was a funnel cloud visible. I was horrified, because at the height of the tornadie warning, I found a tick embedded on my hip. :eek: That’ll larn me to do yard work…
This morning when I checked Farcebook, there were several pictures of another tornadie down in Cottonfield County, NC from yesterday. no word on damage or injury, but from the description I got, it went into the Dismal Swamp where no civilization exists.

Morning all,
That cruise looks sick! I is jelly! We had super soaker storms last night complete with several tornado warnings in my area but thankfully there was none.
Someone needs to poke me with a stick at various points today to make sure I am still awake/alive. I am already having trouble keeping my eyes open. Its gonna be a loooong boooorning day. Blurf!

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up, caffienated, purtified, brekkied and at irk. I met OYKW for brekkie at Waffle House. **MOOOOOOM** that sounds like a fun cruise. Actually, my own mom did find me a new daddy last year. Well, it’s not like she went trollin’ for men, but that hotbed of romance known as the Troup County Jawja Senior Center is where they met. I’m sure I mentioned this before but he was not the first man who tried to date mom, just, accordin’ to her, the first one with any sense. Also, I would not strew **N.O.T.P.** all about. I would inventory it and then report as to whether or not enough of a supply exists. So There! 😛

Happy Toosday.
Although not a damn happy thing about it. :mad:
It’s 68 degrees outside with a projected high of 83. It’s grey and soggy.
Didn’t make it to _Best Buy_ yesterday. One of my clients was in the hospital and called me at the last minute to let her dogs out.
Didn’t get my printer to work yet, so no pics yet for the announcements.
Finished writing up the announcements which was real fun with my mother’s help. All I wanted her to do was read the addresses to me because I can’t read her handwriting and by her reaction you’d think I just asked her to pull her liver through her belly button, saute it up with some onions and serve it to me on a silver platter.
Today is laundry day and pizza day and meet with a client day and drive the Sah-son to the high school so he can go in and pick up his diploma. I also need to pick up my room, everything is a disorganized mess right now.
