Kaylee, Kayden, Braden, Jayden, Caitlin…anything similar to that. It’s not ugly, it’s just been done. To death. I wish I hadn’t named my daughter Victoria, as she frequently goes by Vicky. Ugh! ---

Eliza I like (and she does as well), but you don’t always get to control your nicknames. For some reason, I’ve always really liked the very old fashioned name Dorcas, but didn’t name my daughter that :). The nickname sucks. ---

The name trends I can’t stand always seem to belong to really bitchy women. The first I noticed was Tonya and she was of the ‘steal yo man’ trashy flavor. The other that strikes me as scammer types who have beyond ridiculously narcissistic personalities are Donnas. Now, every one of the former that I’ve known I haven’t cared much for. The latter, however, are split about 50 / 50 between normal, sweet folks and lunatics. My husband’s ex-wife was the lunatic kind. As for guy’s names? I’ve never noticed any patterns. I’ll have to start paying more attention. ---

My dad wanted to name me after his brother Chester. Thankfully my mom said no. I have an aunt Beatrice. I wouldn’t burden a child with that name. I don’t dislike any name. But some I like less than others. 🙂 ---
