By who’s standards? Virtually all of them are adapted from Playboy magazine photos from the 1960s and 1970s. Not most people’s idea of “pornographic”.
Those are quite fascinating from a purely artistic point of view- someone had to sit down and work out the ASCII symbols etc to get the shading and light right, all so early Techno-Geeks could see some breasts.
Of course, some of them are closer to Magic Eye pictures than ASCII Art/Centrefolds, but still, you’ve got to marvel at their dedication…
I remember seeing a web site in 1994 called “Jef’s Nude of the month”. That is the earliest I remember seeing on the Internet. Everything else I had came from BBS systems I’d dial into.

Playboy isn’t pornagraphic? It’s not hardcore, maybe (depending on one’s standards of “hardcore” and “softcore”), but it’s explicit pictures of naked women intended for purposes of sexual arousal.
