[It](https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/StringTheory) is used everywhere now, either seriously in dramas or mockingly in comedies, but what was the first use?

Evidence Board with string or Investigation board or Link Analysis. I don’t remember it before the 90s though on TV or film.
