Some fucker ran their washing machine until really late in the night and I struggled to get to sleep, meaning I’ve not had that much of a lie in on my day off - I’m up at 9.30am! ---

The automatic thermostat in our house is a pain to set. And I can’t just nudge the desired temperature up or down when my husband is out of town for a couple of days, I have to REPROGRAM the whole thing. If the power flickers out for even a second, just about every device in the house wants to have its clock reset. Why does my stove even NEED a clock, anyway? I’m about to go order some windup or battery operated clocks. ---

I was at the pub tonight for my weekly pub quiz and they’d RUN OUT of the chocolate mousse for dessert. I had to eat sticky toffee cake with cream like a fucking savage. ---

The power in my apartment went off and on sometime while I was at work today. That means I had to restart my ipad for it to re-find the wireless network.
