As a somewhat adjunct to my recent mallet thread, decided to post here instead, despite it being the most Terrible Song Beginning Ever, which is a very malletable thing. Kind of a torturous song ID here, because I have no clue who the (probably 70’s) recording artist (or group) is, nor the lyrics, except the word “yeah”. Pretty sure it just starts off with a basic pop rock beat, (no other instruments, yet) (_and_ keep in mind it’s been decades since I last heard it, hence my vagueness). Then the singer comes in with: _“[unremembered word], yeah, [unremembered word], yeah, [unremembered word], yeah, [unremembered word], yeah…”_ By then IIRC the band kicks in with something so obliterated, so crushed, so re-emulsifyed into something yet _more_ amoebic, from my memory, thanks to that beginning. The way “yeah” is said, with this trying-to-be-snotty-like-their-likely-counterparts-Sweet sorta way, but more flaccid, yet. Featherwieght. . ---

Not the first thing, but I was assaulted by this tonight at about 140 db. It’s an “Oh Yeah”. I thought, _“Hey, this guy is on my Death List, I wonder how he’s doing?”_ and then I thought _“Hey, there is a thread about the Yeah I can post to when I go online and see if he is dead yet”._ So here I am.
