More of an anti-fishing song–by Country Joe (and The Fish!): _Save The Whales_.

> Glad to see they included “Fishin’ Blues.” Great song.

Yepper. That’s a five-star ditty.

The only addition I can come up with is _Mr. Bass_ by the Descendents:
_Mr. Bass lies waiting in his kelpy room
Waiting, til comes doom
He comes and then he goes
He sees Orca and then he knows
I can see Mr. Bass, he’s on my wall
I can taste Mr. Bass, he’s on my wall
I can smell Mr. Bass tomorrow_

Not a great song, but a 1980s punk song about fishing.

John Prine’s "Fish and Whistle.

Fish and whistle, whistle and fish
Eat everything that they put on your dish
And when we get through we’ll make a big wish
That we never have to do this again again

Are the Descendents from Southern California? It seems like they’re talking about Calico Bass rather than the Largemouth Bass that’s spread across the nation.
