1960 Ehhh… - Jennifer Grey (looks like one of my best friends, could be confusing. Loved her in Ferris Buellers day off) - Vallerie Bertinellie (she’s had an interesting life, and no real scandals I don’t think) - Sean Penn (did you bring enough pizza for everyone?) - John Elway (Do you still live off of University Blvd? We could share stories about Denver Football, not so much) - Bono I’ll make the assumption they are not vegans or vegetarians. There is a place that sells the absolute best Filet Mignons. I cook them a couple of times a year when I have friends over. Do I have to do this? Can I pretend I’m not home? ---

1980 - Lin-Manuel Miranda, songwriter, actor, playwright - Venus Williams, tennis player - Ellie Kemper, actor, comedian, and my Hollywood crush - Ryan Gosling, actor - Rishi Sunak, former UK Primer Minister Apparently Venus Williams is vegan, so I will offer a choice of linguine with clams for those who want meat (I guess I have to assume none of them have a shellfish allergy), or pasta primavera for those who want a veg option. And a nice salad and crusty bread. For dessert I’ll pick up an apple pie from [Ikeda’s](https://www.ikedas.com/). Uhh, let’s pretend there’s no lard in the crust. ---

Thank you MMM - Peyton Manning seems famous enough. My guests would have different tastes. I’d use as a guideline to stay away from Alicia Silverstone’s British Scavenger Hunt. “What’s this bright looking fruit growing by the sidewalk? I’m going to eat it!” Anything normal like grilled chicken or hamburgers would be better I’m sure. ---

In honor of the just-completed baseball season, there will be 5 former major-leaguers born in 1953 coming to my house for dinner. I saw all of these guys play during their careers. Well, I share a year of birth with @Alessan, 1974. So what to do differently… Well then: Alanis Morrisette Ramin Djawadi Christian Bale Will be our music and acting talent for night. Jimmy Fallon Will be our comedic guest Hidetaka Miyazaki (creator of Dark Souls and Elden Ring) Will be our international and gaming guest (and get epic side eye for crushing my soul repeatedly in some of those games) I think I’ll serve a variety of dishes, so everyone can try a bit of what they like, some of my slow cooker saag paneer, served with homemade flatbread, some vegetarian roasted bell pepper sushi, green chile pork with cilantro and lime, cheese filled chile relleno, and butter mochi. Lot of things cat can be nibbled on, or dipped with chips/tortillas/flatbreads. I don’t want to feel the need to sit down for a formal meal, and my house is rather small. ---
