# Five Perfect Movies

I struggle to think of too many perfect movies. Even many of the greatest movies have a flaw. Pulp Fiction is a magnificent movie but it drags a bit in the middle. That’s a flaw. Saving Private Ryan is a wonderful film with a few script issues. The Thing is one of my favourite movies ever, but the scene with MacReady SAYING no one trusts anyone should be replaced with a scene of people demonstrably not trusting each other. It’s a tiny flaw, but it’s a flaw.
The Godfather is flawless.
Silence of the Lambs.
No Country for Old Men.
Moonlight.
I can think of no flaws with these films.

No joke. Top Gun: Maverick contains perfect scene after perfect scene. The movie works flawlessly on the audience. Perfect popcorn entertainment should not be dismissed.
But swap it out with Chinatown if you’d like! No argument here.
