I’m going to hazard a guess that he’s talking about TV documentaries about human origins, that open with a voiceover “It began in Africa…”, then crossfade to a tribal drums soundtrack over some swoopy helicopter shot of dry river beds, mountains or plains. And I think he’s saying they’ll have the change all these documentaries, if the discovery - in Indonesia - of small hominid fossil bones means humans originated there.
