Also I went ahead and e-mailed my tirade about online commercials and ad-blockers to The CW. They haven’t gotten back to me, but I am suddenly not having the problems I was seeing before. Maybe they fixed something. ---

So the Flash shows up and evil scientist’s lair… and talks to her. Idiot. You should have incapacitated her in the first few microseconds, and _then_ you can chat all you want. Of course, if every episode was like this, every episode would be twenty minutes long. Who was controlling that last-gasp bee, anyway? In the absence of commands from central control, does it just kill people at random? And since the robot bees don’t “die”, shouldn’t it still be flying around and able to kill Palmer and Smoak anyway? If Cisco is having “flashbacks” of the alternate timeline, shouldn’t people all over the world (heck, the universe) be experiencing the same? ---

Presumably, only people affected by Barry’s actions changing the timeline would be experiencing this. I know, butterfly effect and all that, but it should still be mostly Central City folks. Of course, this would include Iris having dreams that Barry is the Flash, everyone having nightmares about a tidal wave, and that weather guy having delusions of grandeur. However, it could explain why the Reverse Flash killed that reporter without having knowledge he was onto him – he had dreams that the reporter was looking into him, so that was enough for him! ---

And then gave every character some “radiation”-based origin instead of the unique backstories the DC originals had. Of course, the “original” Golden Age Atom (from the JSA) didn’t shrink. He was big and buff and punched people really hard. I think. I wasn’t around during the Golden Age. My favorite Atom is still the Ray Palmer version. I don’t consider the Arrow/Flash version of The Atom to be an Iron Man knockoff. Iron Man isn’t the only guy in comics with an armored powersuit, he’s just the most iconic. I just don’t like The Atom being a guy in an armored powersuit. Dammit, The Atom wears spandex and shrinks to … atom size. Of course, I realize that spandex is kind of out of fashion, at least in modern superhero movies. Thank God it’s not out of fashion with the young women in real life 😃 ---

As I understand it, Napoleon’s reputation for being short was rooted in the fact that he was constantly surrounded by his personal guard, which was comprised of unusually large men. He only _looked_ short in comparison. ---

Oh, Cisco. You should know by now that if an attractive woman comes on to you, it’s because she wants something from you. That photo at the end with him and Black Canary was all sorts of awkward. They focussed on the wrong psychopath when going after this week’s metahuman. Not “Hannibal”, but “Bates”. The instant the grandmother opened the door, I knew it was him. ---

I was all sorts of pissed that Barry remained unconscious for so long after being cold-cocked. I mean, he can’t even stay drunk for more than 30 seconds on 300 proof magic alcohol. It’s been repeatedly shown that he heals “really fast” so what exactly is it about being conked on the head with a pistol that makes him stay out for so long. And why the @#$% wouldn’t they dose the shapeshifter with the anti-changing serum BEFORE they took him to the cops? ---

So there’s a shapeshifter around; of course, there’s nothing suspicious about Eddie turning up somewhere he can’t plausibly be, or Barry behaving all sorts of out of character, no, not at all. Let’s just conveniently turn our backs to anybody behaving suspiciously, that’ll make them go away perhaps! :rolleyes: ---

I wonder how long it will be until we see the Justice League. That mural Joe was standing in front of was a dead give away. So far we have Flash, Arrow, Firestorm and Atom. We need 3 more heroes for a true JL. I’m not sure if Black Canary is one or not. Same with Cisco. ---
