Okay, Newt, fun’s fun but this is over the line. We do allow some T.M.er-bashing in the Pit, but this is not the Pit . . . though this thread is fast degenerating to that level. Abuse is right out, and that’s what you are indulging in. Our first rule is “Don’t Be A Jerk,” but your behavior is pretty jerky and will not be tolerated further. **Newt** , I don’t believe I have come across any of your posts before. I rarely go into any of the religious discussions. BUT, judging by your behaviour here, you are being a jerk. Chill out, have a discussion, and for the love of Larry be prepared to support your statements rather than attack those who question you. I would think that most police officers would like for motorists to flash others. What effect does it have? They slow down. It accomplishes exactly what they want as long as they do not want to generate money. I only flash gang members when I have my trusty asault rife next to me. Otherwise, I honk my horn at them. Which brings me to another question? Should you honk your horn at people? Does anyone actually use their horn? Some people honk as kind of a hello (well at least they do in the country). Others honk to say “Get the H\*ll out of the way buddy”. I tend not to use mine as I would rather try to avoid an accident by steering and not by frightening the other motorist. What say you all? They are there to make money. They don’t sit in speed traps to slow people down – they do it to catch 'em going too fast. Falcon, as Glitch has noted elsewhere, N/A doesn’t quite match the Phaedrus style. I think it’s more the MikeylikesIt (and company) lack of style, personally. ---
