I particularly love the way NA pretends to have been such a helpful participant in debates around here (this was at least the second time he’s referred to something along those lines) and others just get in the way (especially, apparently, me). Frankly, the only discussion I remember him contributing to was the Boy Scout one, and now I’m going to have to rethink that since I believed he had actually done the research he claimed – now I strongly suspect that was a bad call on my part.
So far, he’s done a great job of ignoring me, as he promised, wouldn’t you all say?

There you go link to a thread flaming Nickrz. I know there are more, but one will suffice as proof by counter-example. What am I saying, like NA has any knowledge of proper logic and reasoning. Do you know what counter-example is? It means that if you make a claim (pick an axiom) and somebody shows something that is in contradiction to the claim then the claim is false.

I remember a kid on the local BBSes who used to make threats like NA does. He would act all big and strong on the BBSes, saying he was gonna beat us down, smack us, etc. In real life, he was a puny runt of an immature child. The funniest thing was when he once posted that he was bigger than me and would beat me up. Apparently he’d forgotten that several people on the BBSes knew him in real life…

Actually I rather enjoyed the asassination.
In all fairness there was nothing mean about it all.
I was horribly wrong in my assertions, and this was clearly proven to me.
I learned something I'd been in error about for years, and it opened up new knowledge,
and another area of interest that was unknown to me, so I am not ungrateful.
One must not hold back when striking a blow against ignorance.
After reading portions of other threads I can sympathize with their actions.
I wish to mention this for the record, so that if in the future a certain party were to find
his backyard suddenly inundated with a certain species of Marmota Monax....
