Flashlight Recommendations

I have no issues with my Luci solar lantern, but admittedly I don’t have it on for hours — I tend to go to sleep early when camping.
Specs say 12 hours on low, but recharge time not listed.

My use case is post-hurricane with a week or more without electricity. And illuminating enough of an apartment to be a tolerable experience for two people from sunset to a bedtime chosen so it’ll be daybreak at wakeup.

your Best solución for This scenario:

get a smallish but high efficiency solar panel that has outputs to usb-a and can deliver 2A worth of 5V energy.

Keeps a flashlight happy, charges your Phone and is now the New - de-facto-standard-for-electronic-knick-knacks. Best solución overall and it seems usb-a Will be a round for a long time … and even if we migrate towards usb-c (as it seems), you are just one tiny adaptor or cable away.

… what might take you 36 hours on a crappy flashlight with postage-stamp sized solar panel (frying its own battery in the sun), converts into a 2hr job
