1. Pervasive (and, I would add, often unconscious) submission to Marxist ideology 2. A sense of powerlessness, the active embrace of which both confers the mantle of the virtuous downtrodden, and simultaneously abdicates any duty to behave in a politically responsible manner 3. The tendency to blame America first; to equate America with Imperialism, and any and all anti-Americanism with virtuous revolutionary effort on the part of The Oppressed 4. A refusal to criticize foreign political atrocities, on the grounds that The Privileged have no right to condemn The Underprivileged 😃 ---
