why should they? “family” isn’t some magic sacrosanct word which should get everyone in the vicinty to bend over backwards.
But it’s a “hack!” like the article I read about Soylent a couple of years ago; it was titled “Hacking Soylent.” Y’know what their “hacks” were? Adding berries to it.
