I actually took the topic more as a metaphor. As in “Flora hit the Chicago meeting last night and she’s dead this morning.” I’m still waiting for the skiny on that, by the way. Apparently my name was brought up – hopefuly in a god context. ---

Cripes, I can tell you folks that SaxHead has enough tact that if our favorite glam Doper truly had passed on that she wouldn’t announce it in a thread glibly entitled “Flora’s dead.” Of course if I kicked tomorrow, Sax would probably make my death announcement a P.S. “NYC Meeting on Dec 8! I understand the original title was meant to be humorous, but even now I forget it’s there and it still spooks me out. It would have helped if you had put “dead” in quotes. I admit I’m a little oversensitive on this topic–my mother died three months ago. ---
