It’s certainly not good for the current livestock meat producers cartel, which has apparently bought the political leadership of those stares wholesale. See also margarine and dairy farmers. ---

Though I believe, for a variety of reasons, that reducing meat consumption is a good thing, my favourite pizza is some variation of meat-lover’s and I love a good, big honking rare steak.
