Flown American AL Internationally Lately?

CRorex says: Story: AA’s has this policy they don’t mention. If someone buys a ticket for someone else with a credit card (say an e-ticket) when you go to check in you need the credit card the ticket was purchased with to get your ticket.

AA’s not the only airline with this policy, but I have to say that this fact, in my experience, is always mentioned, either in the e-mail confirmation you get or on the Print page confirmation that comes out right after you book online. Even if you book on the phone, I’ve found the sales rep always mentions this as well. Sorry about your experience CRorex, but I’m inclined to believe there was some small print involved somewhere…

My favorite American “perk”: In-flight Entertainment is “Free”, but the headphones will cost you $2. :rolleyes: Thanks, that’s some entertainment value, there.

Oh, and there was more leg room–didn’t seem like a lot but you take what you can get.

I’m 6’4" and recently flew American to London. The flight from Austin to Chicago was cramped and miserable, but on the 777 from Chicago to London, there was plenty of room. I was pleasantly surprised.
