Hmph. Very unfortunate. I don’t like seeing these sudden staff turnovers over policy disagreements. Generally speaking as a government worker I’m usually an advocate of “change is bad” in the workplace ( mainly because at my job it often is ). Not that I’m willing to cry DOOM just yet. Or at all, really - it’s still just a forum for bitching on a message board. Still… Anyway **fluidruid** , thanks for your dedication and the time you’ve put in. ---

Please don’t take **Giraffe’s** extra-long thread as a reflection on how we feel about you as a moderator, **fluiddruid** - there’s a lot of responding to the shock of change that we don’t think is going to be good in that thread. You were both very good mods, and your influence will be missed here in the playground. ---
