jally - I visited the site you mentioned and my personal opinion is that it makes the posts too hard to read, and also it adds little value to a message board. People reading the thread can make their own decisions on the value of a particular post. You also say “_I counted 14 posts after the O.P. above. Not one answer to the original Q._” Out of those 14 posts, 5 were posts made by you (including a double-post you made), so I would suuggest that a more precise way of expressing your idea would have been “_I counted 9 posts by other people after the O.P. above.
