I think we should make viewing graphic photos and video mandatory before any surgical procedure. “You thought you wanted your hip replaced? Well, let us show you the surgical chainsaw in action! Then tell us how much you want surgery!” Maybe there could be an exception for emergency procedures, or maybe they’d just save the footage until you were in recovery. ---

I saw it the other night. I was having a quite nice dinner on the patio of a quite nice restaurant with my five year old son when the plane went by. Fortunately, he doesn’t read. I just told him they were trying to get us to call the phone number. The graphic isn’t hi-definition enough to see anything but a dime and a blurry mass of red and redder - reminded me a lot of the photos I have of my overies or any other photo I’ve ever seen of something from inside you. I think, in the interest of consistency with the information laws surrounding abortion, full disclosure with pictures for any medical procedure sounds like a wonderful idea Interrobang!?. Definately pro-life Liberal. Pro-choicers don’t focus on the fetus at all - the focus is on the woman carrying the fetus. ---

We had these in college. The “Genocide Awareness Project”. Apparently, democrats are out to kill all fetuses, which are a “race”. Uh huh. Sure. Sitting outside my dorm window were pictures of lynched blacks hanging from trees and aborted fetuses. 12 foot by 12 foot billboards in full color. The one and only protest I participated in was against these assholes. I don’t care if you’re pro choice or pro life. I don’t want to walk to the dining hall with people screaming at me that I’m a killer and spraying fake blood all over the grass. I’ve never had an abortion, so I’m not a killer, I suppose, but they assumed all the girls at the school had, especially in the art and theater dorm. One of my friends got himself arrested by driving his car through one of the billboards. After he knocked down the board, one of the children protesting with the group laid down in front of the car as the cops drove up and pretended to be hurt. Several dozen witnesses pointed out that they had seen the whole thing and that she was full of shit, and the father who’d instructed his daughter to lie to the cops took back his accusations. I’m not a big fan of these fuckknuckles. ---

Showing a tiny blob of tissue is supposed to make me sympathize somhow? Please. At that stage of ‘life’, it is nothing more than that. I don’t consider anything without a reasonably developed nervous system to be worth my time. Fortunately, the law already covers this. These people are just trolls with money. ---
