But it turns out that oceanographers – who clearly have too much time on their hands – have decided to call a species of squid, \* Bathyphysa siphonophores\*, a "Flying Spaghetti Monster because of its obvious similarity to that construct. That is most definitely not a squid - it is a cnidarian, closer to jellyfish and corals. ---
